A South Arabian Stele

A South Arabian Alabaster Stele Fragment with a Bull Head


Carved in high relief protruding from a rectangular plaque with the lower section missing, fine details of the bull's head including the eyes, brows and muzzle are incised, the small ears are carved in lower relief behind the horns one of which is missing.

Circa 1st Century BC to 1st Century AD
