Terms and Conditions Payment and Shipping

Guarantees:

We take great care in studying every object before showcasing them on our website and in some cases they have been seen by expert as well .

All items on the website are genuine and from the period stated in the description.

Should you disagree with the authenticity of an object, provided the opinion comes from a museum curator or expert in the field of Egyptology in writing we shall reimburse you within 14 days of purchase. Providing you ship back the item in its original condition and by Royal Mail Special Delivery at your own cost, reimbursement to be actioned within 7 days we have received back the item and we satisfied it is in the same condition as sold.

Provenance :

All objects on the website have been acquired legally and have documented provenance, which we can share some details in retracted form if requested in writing within the 14 days of purchase.

Shipping:

We ship all objects with Royal Mail Special Delivery within the United Kingdom. Note £ 10 for the service of packing and posting.

For International orders we use Royal Mail International Tracked service. Price will depend on size and country.

EU and International Regulations:

EU and International buyers must be aware of import procedures and regulations. Since 28 June 2025 the EU has new set of rules for import of cultural goods and antiquities in general and as for All our International clients ( any order asked to be shipped outside of the United Kingdom ) it is the buyer sole responsibility to comply with their countries legal obligations and import requirements .

Note that most countries have import duties and customs fees when importing, these and any other fees are solely the responsibility of the buyers/ importers.

We cannot interfere in these process nor can we advise nor help with the procedures.

At best we can only provide paperwork we hold on the object with retracted personal information.

Payments:

All payments are to be made By Bank Transfer only with your Name as reference.  We provide bank transfer details once confirmation received of your purchase.

All shipping is done usually within 3 days that our bank has confirmed the transfer has cleared our account.

Note that all transactions are private sales.

Your personal details:

We only use your personal details for shipping and banking purposes.

Returns:

Should you not be satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us for a " Credit Note" only to be used to purchase another object in our collection.

Note that a 10% restocking fee of the original price would apply.

You must notify us within 14 days of delivery and must send it back to the address we would indicate. Such returns must be done with Royal Mail Special Delivery within the United Kingdom and International Tracking Service for International clients. You must provide us with the tracking number.

Note to International Buyers: in case of returns you bear responsibility of any customs or other charges we might incur and would be added in addition to the 10% restocking fee.

Exclusions:

All sale of books and publications are final, no returns accepted.
